Client Advisory Committee

Regional Disability Advocacy Service is looking for six volunteers to join our Client Advisory Committee to help us to review and improve the way in which we provide our advocacy services.

Our Client Advisory Committee will comprise a number of previous or current RDAS client’s along with senior managers from RDAS who are all committed to identifying ways in which RDAS can improve its overall advocacy service delivery.

This committee plays a crucial role in ensuring that the services provided meet the expectations of clients that use the service. It is expected that the committee will also review and provide feedback on any relevant policies or resources that inform service delivery.

Frequency and timing of committee meetings

The committee will meet two to three times each year for up to 1.5 hours per meeting. Committee meetings will be scheduled to take place from midday on a mutually agreeable day of the week based upon committee members availability.

Format of meetings

Meetings will be held in person at our Wodonga Head Office or via an online means (Teams/Zoom/Skype) dependent upon committee member accessibility requirements and locations.

Committee members will receive a $50 VISA gift card for each meeting they attend.
